This is a repeat breeding. Layla's previous breeding to Jet produced only one, very special little puppy. 'The Boy Wonder' is healthy, vibrant, and everything I could have wanted from this breeding - a beautifully balanced pup loaded with drive, courage, focus, biddability, and a healthy dose of Flat-coat joie de vivre. Having no explanation for the singleton other than a fluke, I am very grateful for the opportunity to repeat the breeding as I am thrilled with Boy Wonder and anxious for a full litter out of this pairing.
Puppies from Layla's first litter, by CH SR Hallbent Most Happy Fella SH WCX CGC (Jordan), are also growing up nicely. Some have already proven themselves as useful gundogs, others are making their mark in hunt tests, agility, dock-diving, and the show ring. Most importantly, all are much-loved pets enjoying many great adventures with their families.
Inquiries invited for hunting, pet, show, or performance pups.

A pup's life at Flyway Farm.
Jet is a vibrant dog of eight years young with a constant wag and gentlemanly demeanor. The 2008 Crufts breed winner, Jet is an exceptionally balanced and sound dog with flawless movement. Jet's show career witnessed an astonishing summer. Handled by his co-owner and breeder, Jim Irvine, Jet kicked off the summer by earning his 38th CC in June to become the second winningest Flat-coat of all-time, followed by an all-breed Best in Show in July, and, in August, a Best in Show win at National Gundog and a Reserve Best in Show win at Paignton. Jet wrapped up the summer by celebrating his eighth birthday at the SKC champ show, going Best of Breed for his 45th CC and then winning the Group. Jet's pedigree combines strong English working lines with several of England's renowned breed winners. Hailing from an especially remarkable bitch line including the top-winning Flat-coat bitch of all-time (Gayplume Dixie), Jet's dam, grand-dam, and great-granddam all won the bitch CC at Crufts in their day. When not strutting his stuff in the show ring, Jet enjoys romps in the Scottish hillside. Jet consistently imparts exceptional type and temperament to his offspring, several of which have also proven themselves as capable workers in a variety of venues.
